Teeth Whitening

With all of the meals and drinks we consume daily, white teeth can be difficult to acquire and keep. Furthermore, smoking and a lack of regular home dental care lead to tooth discoloration.

Whitening your teeth can improve your quality of life significantly by making you more comfortable with your smile and increasing your self-confidence. Professional treatments are dependable, durable, and good for your entire health. At Bell Dental Care, we strive to make everyone's smiles better.

What Is Teeth Whitening?

There are several ways to bleach your teeth, including utilizing whitening toothpaste, mouthwash, and other treatments that eliminate surface stains for a low cost. However, hiring professionals is the greatest option for long-term results.

Tooth whitening can be a very successful aesthetic dental care technique for lightening the natural color of your teeth without removing any of the tooth's surface. While it cannot completely change the color, it can lighten the present tint.

How Does Teeth Whitening Improve Your Health?

Gum disease and tooth decay are extremely frequent dental issues that impact millions of people worldwide. Carbamide peroxide, which is found in most professional bleaching products, eliminates the bacteria that cause gum disease and decay. When patients see the spectacular benefits of teeth whitening, they typically improve their oral hygiene regimen by brushing, flossing, and rinsing more frequently, which helps to maintain your teeth in good condition. The hydrogen peroxide contained in many whitening toothpaste brands and rinses is great at destroying germs and is a good preventative measure for cavities and gum disease. However, bear in mind that certain whitening toothpaste contains abrasive compounds that can cause wear on the enamel of your teeth, so they may not be suitable for long-term use.

The Teeth Whitening Procedure

Consultation

During your initial visit, our dentist will assess your dental health and determine whether you are a good candidate for teeth whitening. In general, if you have good oral health and are not pregnant, you should be able to have your teeth professionally bleached.

Treatment

Your in-office whitening procedure will take only one hour, and you will be given personalized trays to take home with you for touch-up treatments as needed. If you are encouraged to do so after your in-surgery treatment, our dentist will provide you with prescription whitening gel to put within the trays.
